The Nikon D780 is the long-awaited successor to the D750. Where the D750 was already a great entry-level full frame camera, the D780 goes a step further. This full frame SLR camera combines the advantages of a DSLR with all the technology of today. In short, a professional and modern FX camera.
Take the ultimate photo with the 24.5-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor. Thanks to the EXPEED 6 image processor, the camera has an enormous dynamic range, allowing you to shoot clear photos. Even in low light, as the ISO range is 100 to 51,200 and expandable to 204,800. With shutter speeds from 1/8000th to 900 seconds, you can freeze every movement or create the most beautiful light trails in a dark environment.
The D780 offers enormous flexibility with the hybrid AF system for live images, and an autofocus with phase detection when you shoot using the optical viewfinder. There are two autofocus systems, so you can literally go in all directions as a photographer. Via live view you have 273 AF points with eye detection, and via the viewfinder you use Nikons powerful 51-point AF system with excellent tracking functions. With this flexibility, you are assured of a clear image in every situation.
With the burst function you can capture action moments at the right time. The D780 photographs at a speed of 7 frames per second with AF/AE through the viewfinder. You can also shoot up to 12 fps with the Silent live view photography mode. In full resolution, of course, in RAW. Even faster? You can. Put the camera in live view and take Full HD photos (2MP) with 120bps or 4K photos (8MP) with 30bps. Never miss a moment.
The D780 has a weather-resistant robust body, so it is suitable for any type of photography. The camera has space for two UHS-II SD cards to quickly and properly store the large camera files in burst mode. The further developed grip makes it a nice camera to hold in your hand. The Nikon AF-S 24-120mm F/4.0G ED VR is a compact and versatile 5x zoom lens suitable for Nikons FX-format DSLRs. The AF-S 24-120mm lens is equipped with quality parts, including the Vibration Reduction and the quiet Silent Wave Motor. The lens consists of the special ED (Extra Low Dispersion) glass for even higher sharpness and better contrast. This G-type lens (no aperture ring) allows aperture adjustment to within 1/3 stop and saves weight. The Nano Crystal Coat reduces ghosting and flare.
